Report: Putin orders tax payment in installments for small firms

MOSCOW, Apr 1 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin asked the government on Wednesday to allow payment of taxes and fees in installments for small business after a six-month grace period for their payment ends at a meeting with the government broadcast by channel Rossiya 24.

"When I met with the small business representatives, they asked to prevent a strong blow of the need to pay the entire debt at once, the entire amount accrued for six months when the grace period ends in all these areas. I would ask you to think about it," Putin said.

The president also asked to introduce the measure as soon as possible.
